OTTO: Enoteca Pizzeria- A Fabulous Dining Experience

I took a good friend of mine to the Venetian last year for both of our birthdays, and it was like a dream come true to me in more ways than one. I had the ravioli brassata filled with stewed veal and carrots, and the chef had told me the rich, red delicious sauce was made from fresh tomatoes when was “out of this world” as my Nanny used to say!

We had the caprese appetizer, and that alone was heavenly, if food could be described as heavenly or ethereal- it was.

The mozzarella was made there on the premises and was still warm, Chef Mario Batali gave the dish his own unique charm, that nobody else could. He garnished his with extra virgin olive oil, fresh pesto Genovese and pine nuts. Just describing it makes my mouth water!

You can hear the extraordinary  Venetian Trio serenading you in Saint Mark’s Square at The Venetian Five Star Resort.
